HISTORICAL AND BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
World Unity Magazine was a publication that was circulated from October of 1927 until March of 1935 and published by the World Unity Foundation. Its editors were John Herman Randall, John Herman Randall Jr. and Horace Holley. The concluding volume of the magazine stated its unique character proceeded from the outlook of its founders, who “realized the inter-dependence of religion, science and sociology in the movements simultaneously destroying the past and forming a new era in human history.”
In an introduction to the magazine produced by the Library of World Peace Studies, Warren F. Kuehl wrote in 1978 that “the magazine in its early years showed no special preference for any particular position or program over another” but that “as the years passed, the journal showed its increasing interest in the Bahá’í Faith” (Bahai.works).
Digitized issues of the magazine are available online at the website of Bahai.works https://bahai.works/World_Unity
